Wrightsoft employs an experienced management team, including many experts in the HVAC industry. The expertise of this team is crucial to providing the best innovative software and tools possible and continues to give Wrightsoft a competitive advantage.

Bill Wright
President

Bill Wright, the President of Wrightsoft Corporation was the original developer of Right-J®, the ACCA's computerized Manual J loads program. After the success of the Right-J program establishing it as the industry standard, Bill has led Wrightsoft to the development of several other HVAC software design and sales tools over the past 20 years.

Before his ACCA involvement, Bill was the Director of the Technology Development Division at the Northern Energy Corporation, where he led computer and manual design tool development efforts for solar and energy conservation. Eventually, Bill was drawn to his old alma mater (MIT) to teach a graduate seminar in HVAC design which gave him the inspiration for his automated HVAC tools.

Bill currently lives in historic Lexington, MA where Wrightsoft Corporation is based. In addition to his family, Bill's favorite pastimes are bikes, computers, and Nantucket Island.

Chris Edgren
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Chris Edgren leads Wrightsoft’s Sales and Marketing teams and directs the company’s Technical Support, training, Professional Services, and customer care programs. Chris brings his diverse sales and customer experience knowledge to Wrightsoft drawn from over 17 years of sales, business development, marketing and executive management positions.

Prior to joining Wrightsoft, Chris held senior sales and management positions at Anchorsilk, BetaTherm Corp and Netco Extruded Plastics, developing and implementing sales, marketing, and business development strategies. Chris received his B.A in Economics from the University of Connecticut.

When not working or traveling, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing hockey and golf, and rooting for the Patriots, Red Sox and UCONN teams.

Michael Shnitman
Vice President of Software Development

Michael Shnitman, the recently appointed Vice President of Software Development, has been with Wrightsoft since 1994, contributing greatly to the development of the modules of Right-Suite®. In addition to corporate customization projects, Michael was most recently the primary developer of the highly advanced and innovative Right-RadiantTM program used to design and calculate radiant heating systems, complete with accurate loop renderings in Right-Draw®.

Prior to coming to the United States from Belarus in 1992, Michael received his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Minsk Polytechnic Institute in Minsk, Belarus. He then worked as a HVAC designer and engineer for the Design Department of the Minsk Automobile Plant from 1986 to 1992 specializing in HVAC and piping design for industrial and commercial buildings.

Michael has continued to add significant value to the Wrightsoft team and his efforts to help customers gain success is unmatched. Michael lives with his wife and two children in Newton, MA and enjoys computers, rollerblading, and hockey.

Charles S. “Chip” Barnaby
Vice President of Research

Chip Barnaby is involved in software development, focusing on the implementation of loads and operating cost aspects of Wrightsoft’s products. He also leads Wrightsoft’s research efforts, working on two ASHRAE projects relating to building load calculation methods.

Chip has more than 30 years experience related to building energy simulation and load modeling. Prior to joining Wrightsoft in 1995, he worked at Xenergy and was a founder of Berkeley Solar Group. At BSG, he was the principal developer of the residential simulation models CALPAS3 and CALRES.

Chip is active in ASHRAE as a member and chair of several Technical and Guideline committees. He sits on two ACCA advisory committees dealing with loads calculation procedures and was recently presented with the Distinguished Service Award. He also serves on the board of IBPSA, the International Building Performance Simulation Association.

Chip also lives in Lexington, MA and spends his free time on endless home improvement projects.

Jane Schuler
Vice President of Finances and Human Resources

Jane Schuler is responsible for the finance and adminstration functions at Wrightsoft. With over 15 years experience at the company, Jane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Wrightsoft management team. During her tenure, Jane has been in active in all facets of the business assisting with her can-do attitude that keeps the company running smoothly on a daily basis.

Jane also lives in historic Lexington, MA with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis, golf and the company of her many friends.
